Job description
The Consumer & Business Banking Technology team (CBB IT) moves quickly, efficiently and effectively on the right work for the business at the right times, providing end-to-end technology solutions for the Consumer & Business Banking lines of business. We operate as business partners, solving problems together with the business and driving better cost to service. Our Quality Assurance (QA) team has an opening for an Analyst.
• Responsible for Automation Testing solutions across Data warehouse projects.
• Provide leadership to automation team for DW projects
• Define Automation strategy and Plan
• Identify potential areas to Automate which would result in value addition to the projects
• Create Automation Scripts for the identified automatable test cases
• Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations
• Responsible for on-time delivery of high-quality code
• Automating System test / UAT test scripting and execution.
• Support QA phase by developing test scripts and by managing Q/C
• Identify efficiencies and ways to improve Automation testing processes
• Works with various other team members, including DBA"s, ADs, QA Leadership and Business Analysts
• Insure that solutions are not one-offs, but can be leverage across the organization
• Excellent knowledge of the Full life cycle of a project.
Desired profile
Education and Experience-
• Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. Master"s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Information Technology a plus.
• Minimum of three years of work experience in Building Automation frameworks and Automation tool such as QTP, LISA.
• Minimum of two years of work experience using Informatica or similar ETL technology
• Minimum of two years of work experience in Unix Shell scripting
• Minimum of two years of work experience in BTEQ scripts and Informatica PDO in Teradata.
• Lending/Consumer banking experience desirable
• Knowledge of release management version and revision control practices and procedures
• Knowledge of various data modeling concepts, tools (ERWIN desired) and methodologies
• Strong knowledge of Test life cycles
• Knowledge of open source tools and utilities
• Experience with scheduling jobs on CRON and using a scheduling tool like Control-M
• Solid Testing and Analytical skills
Strong experience with manual testing, testing tools, writing test plans, and reviewing test cases
Technical Skills-
The technical requirements of this role are as follows:-
At least 3 – 5 years of experience in Automation mainly in DW/BI testing with tools like QTP, iTKO LISA,
• At least 3 - 5 years Q/A experience required in Data Warehouse and BI environments
• At least 3 - 5 years experience of working with financial services applications
• At least 3 – 5 years of experience with DW/BI tools like Informatica
• At least 3 – 5 years of SQL coding
• At least 3 – 5 year of experience with Teradata Tools and Utilities (TPT, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPump, FastExport, BTEQ)
• At least 2 – 4 years of Informatica Performance tuning experience required.
• At least 2 – 4 years of Unix Shell Scripting experience required
• At least 2 – 4 years of Building Automation frameworks
