Job description
The role will encompass project support & project management across multiple different delivery teams utilising a number of different project methodologies, from Agile to Waterfall.
· Building, reviewing & executing detailed Runbooks for migrations across multiple technology teams.
· Planning event timelines & driving out Dependent activities, execution of large scale migration events, Command Centre style governance.
· Demand & roadmap planning and estimation, working closely with the Program Manager, Product and the Technical delivery teams.
· Key inputs to Program Governance with our Product Sponsors and key Stakeholders, regular Health & Status reporting (verbal and written).
· Detailed Planning to organise, track & present coherent plans across multiple Program work-streams.
· Project Management of components of the Brexit & Legal Entity Strategy for GLASS, as well involvement in streams of work for our Finance Technology Partners, supporting the Program Manager.
· Tracking of key milestones, Code Delivery / Installation to QA / QA & UAT Scope confirmation, driving progress through to completion i.e. Deliverables through to sign-off from requirements through to defect closure.
· Coordination point for Product, Technology, Operations & UAT teams across multiple businesses within the firm.
· Close partnership and tracking of testing internally & with x-impacts from engagement, through delivery.
· Identify, manage & escalate Risks, Issues & Dependencies, whilst continuing to own mitigation.
· Financial Management, tracking monthly actuals vs Plan & Forecasts.
· Vendor management, ensuring contracts align with expectations, complete all approvals & are invoiced in a timely manner.
· Deputise for Program Manager for short periods of time when out of the office.
· PMO background/qualifications beneficial
· Prior experience of Project or Program Management
· Exposure to Finance Technologies e.g. General Ledger platforms advantageous
· Familiarity with managing software delivery from a Vendor
· Experience of large integrated test cycles across multiple different application groups
· Ability to define, adapt and implement a variety of Project Methodologies
· Confident communicator, ability to adapt message to different audiences and distil
· Ability to develop effective relationships, and reach across the firm when needed
· Detail orientated, resilient and determined
· Energetic, self-starting, curious, reliable, committed and a hunger to learn
