Position Summary:
Provide support to team consisting of Investors in all facets of daily business routine, while maintaining awareness of and sensitivity to confidential nature of Private Banking clients.
Essential Functions:
· Proactively generate ideas to touch clients
· Preparing, Reviewing and approving Investment Performance review presentations for Investors to deliver to clients
· Market, product and client research
· Brokerage trade execution (mostly reactive, however some proactive)
· Discretionary Accounts - can set up trades but not submit for execution
· Risk Management - monitor exceptions and work with Investors to resolve "what-if" scenario based analysis and developing Investment Plans for Investors to present to clients, and using JPM wealth modeling tools
· Analysis /interpretation of client data
· Assisting in development of client presentations
· Work with Team Leader to monitor Investor loadings
· Manage road show invitations
· Manage sales management priorities and track follow up
· Create Mandates/DPMs - Must be reviewed by Investor for approval and signoff before delivering
· Monitoring of fee schedules and billing,
· Review brokerage trades - compare paper blotter to trade blotter daily
· Alternatives document management
· Cancel/corrects
· Account updates
· Answering phones and helping clients or taking a message
Desired profile
· Series 7 & 63 registration required
· College degree required
· Minimum 1-2 years industry related experience
· PowerPoint and Excel expertise required
· Familiarity with Bloomberg and JP Morgan Private Bank systems
· Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
· Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
· Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
· Good judgment and problem solving skills
· Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
· Ability to work both independently and as a team player
· Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
· General comfort level with Internet/Intranet usage and ability to learn proprietary software
