Role and Responsibility Description: We are looking for strong technologists to join CIB Technology team in Mumbai/Bangalore. Candidates will be expected to be best of breed software engineers; possess strong inter-personal skills as well as proven track record of delivering projects with highest code quality and timeliness. ·Provide hands-on functional and technical expertise to detect and fix quality-issues/bugs. ·Plan and implement Automated/Functional testing strategy for a large globally distributed technology team. ·Drive and lead QA automation initiatives across a large application portfolio. Determine testing best practices & principals and promotes them across the organization.
Desired profile
·Hands-on QA experience in Automated/functional testing space. Experience in leading, guiding and mentoring a team of automation/functional test Engineers in a globally distributed environment (onsite/offshore model). ·Prior experience in planning & implementing Automated testing strategy for a large globally distributed technology group using standard automated/performance testing tools like Selenium, QTP, Loadrunner, Cucumber etc. ·Experience in establishing, growing and managing deliverables of a team of highly motivated and skilled test-engineers handing QA activities across large portfolio of applications (web, batch and client-server) ·Should have some front office experience in Investment Management domain. ·Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance process & methodologies. ·Experience in managing globally distributed stakeholders & program-managers responsible for different streams of work. ·Ability to plan, identify & adjust the scope of the testing correctly with the associated risks ·Some exposure to Unix, shell/windows scripting, Database/SQL (Sybase, Oracle or MSSQL) Qualification: · BE/B.Tech J.P.
