The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
CT teams are aligned with corporate partners' evolving technology needs and the firm's ever expanding technology controls agenda.
A top CT priority is building scalable corporate systems. Teams focus on:
· Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm's regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
· Advancing the firm's Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
· Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
· Driving innovation across the firm's corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles

JPMC has mobilized a global Liquidity Risk Infrastructure (LRI ) program that is a firm-wide, 'mission critical' effort to enhance our liquidity risk management monitoring and reporting capabilities, which will include a redesign of the related supporting technology and infrastructure. The LRI program will implement a world class liquidity risk reporting system complying with recently mandated new Federal and Basel regulations. The program will include strategic data sourcing, data enrichment, analytical, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.
Oracle/SQL Developer for Liquidity Risk.
We are seeking an Oracle/SQL Developer to join the EMEA Liquidity Risk Technology team in Glasgow. This individual will be a part of the dynamic team of highly talented individuals and will be encouraged to contribute ideas, learn, design and implement. In addition to gaining experience with Oracle Exadata, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to new emerging technologies such as Hadoop/Impala/Spark.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Working with business representatives and business analysts in developing functional specifications
· Coming up with technical solutions solving business problems
· Designing both high-level and low level components
· Development/Enhancement of the LRI Data Management Layer and controls of Strategic Supply data
· Supporting System Integration testing and User Acceptance Testing
· Supporting Production release
· Providing Level 3 (Application Development Team) production support

Desired profile
Qualifications
Required:
· The individual must have subtantial experience working with ORACLE and SQL/PLSQL (any experience with SYBASE, SYBASE IQ, or potentially with other database management systems can be beneficial).
· Experience with writing packages, stored procedures, triggers, and complex analytical queries, and experience in tuning complex queries is required.
· Experience in writing Shell and/or Perl scripts
· Familiarity with Oracle and Sybase replication is desired.
· Experience in working on multiple projects at a time
Highly Desired:
· Knowledge of principles of object-oriented design and Java language is highly desirable.
· Experience of large scale data warehouse applications
· Experience of tools to support the SDLC
· Experience with ETL tools
· Knowledge/practical experience of Agile methods
· Knowledge/practical experience of continuous integration
· Working experience in financial industry
· Understanding of Liquidity Risk and or Credit/Market Risk is a plus
· Working experience in Business Intelligence application in financial Industry is preferred
