Mortgage Banking helps customers achieve and sustain homeownership by offering purchase and refinance home loans to first-time and experienced homebuyers, servicing residential mortgage loans, and providing affordable solutions to customers struggling with their mortgage payments. ·Lead a team of DBAs and manage their daily work schedule and project related activities. ·Administer and maintain the security and integrity of the databases. Design database maintenance and upgrade processes and provide incident/problem management support. ·Resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. ·Serves as an expert (SME) and guides others in the resolution of the most complex incidents and problems. ·Develops processes, procedures and defines metrics capacity management and high availability of systems and components. ·This role leads additional research into technology that provides improved resiliency and recovery for databases. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ·Responsibilities will include managing and enforcing detailed project schedules from proposal to implementation, coordinating activities of project teams, identifying project issues, organizing and verifying documents, communicating project information and assuming additional responsibilities as assigned. ·Plan, coordinate & delegate work assignments for DBA Oracle team members. ·Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through needs analysis and business requirements. ·Manage and administer the study, analysis, and evaluation of current and projected database systems and procedures, as well as the design, implementation, and maintenance of revised or new systems. ·Develop and establish department standards and procedures, and coordinate the technical support and direction to programming, operations and other departments. ·Coordinating & delegating assignments for team. Overall responsibilities for project status, meetings, reporting, scope changes, financials, administrative and technical issues. ·Primary liaison for Technical & Business teams. ·Responsible for leading and mentoring less experienced staff. Manages a work unit and/or group. ·Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating direct reports. ·24/7 support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability resilience, integrity, security and performance required by our business. ·Able to work non-standard office hours to meet critical maintenance and release schedules. ·Administration, performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle databases. ·Management and maintenance of backups and recovery procedures Installation and maintenance of database server, replication and client environments ·Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems independently. ·Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively. ·Expert knowledge of database security methodologies. ·Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems independently. ·Strong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery processes and procedures.

Desired profile

·Exceptional experience administering various multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases as a Systems/Infra DBA required ·Strong experience working with Oracle versions 8i, 9i, 10gR2, 11gR1/2 in a UNIX environment required ·Strong, proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels) required ·Strong programming experience in PL/SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting and/or Perl (preferably) required ·Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM, Active Data Guard and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). ·Extensive experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle RMAN. ·Self-starter capability, ability to acquire new skills autonomously. ·Demonstrably solid written and verbal communication skills to drive projects to successful conclusion. ·Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
