Team Overview: The International Private Bank (IPB) Operations platform supports our Private Banking business in Asia, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Latin America from a hub based in Geneva & Mumbai. Operations are involved in almost all major steps of the transaction lifecycle as well as new initiatives (products and services) and vendor management. Our Operations hub in Geneva consists of 130 employees organized in teams aligned to either products (Bonds, Equities, Foreign Exchange, Loans & Deposits, Hedge Funds, Derivatives and Mutual Funds) or processes (Income, Corporate Actions, Tax, Client Reporting and Data Management). People joining the team will be assigned to one of the teams and will usually be rotating into another Operations team within 24 months. The Operations department in Geneva is currently offering exciting opportunities to: ·Graduates from all backgrounds who demonstrate a genuine interest in banking and wish to pursue a career in Operations ·Professionals with Operations experience who are looking to take on a new challenge Responsibilities: ·Depending on the specific role typical responsibilities will include order management, trade capture, static data maintenance, client fee billing, asset servicing, position valuations, money transfer processing and settlement of all transactions initiated for or by International Private Bank Clients worldwide ·The key focus in each of those areas is to continuously optimize efficiency and control by understanding, reviewing and implementing processes, systems and procedures in the context of a growing business with increasingly complex product offerings
