This role is for a .Net and MS SQL Server Developer to work with the Wholesale Loan Technology team at JPMorgan, Chicago office. As a member of the WLT team, you will support two applications – QIP and OpsMD. Both the applications are.Net and MS SQL Server based and are internal facing. You will be interacting heavily with business users and leads and upstream/downstream teams to manage dependencies and understanding and writing up user stories/requirements.

You should bring strong communication and comprehension skills with good design and development experience. You should be able to apply your experience to identify the right path forward, execute the next steps and get work done as an individual or with management support. You should be able to collaborate and work effectively across teams. A successful individual will be a problem solver.

Specifically the role requires you to:
· Work closely with business partners and application stakeholders to prioritize, research and respond to their requests
· Own release and implementation activities and validation
· Build business knowledge to better understand and support business users
· Participate in application component design, development, and unit testing
· Update and support existing SSRS reports and SSIS packages
· Build and maintain well written application documentation, architecture and interface documentation and FAQs
· Resolve production issues by performing root cause analysis, coding immediate solutions, and ensuring smooth deployments

Desired profile

·  Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in VB.Net/C#.Net, ASP.Net 4.0 programming and design techniques
·  Minimum 3-5 years experience with MS SQL Server
·  Minimum 3 years experience in SSRS reports and SSIS packages
·  Minimum 3 years of interacting directly with business users and leads
·  Detail oriented with strong communication skills, organization skills, problems solving, and decision making abilities
·  Experience with Windows OS and WCF
·  Experience working with VB scripts
·  Knowledge of Subversion and/or GIT and procedures
·  Must have strong written and oral communication skills
