Quality Assurance Analyst

Mandatory Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years of software testing experience with 4+ years of Backend Testing

• At least 3 - 5 years of Automation scripting, writing queries

· At least 3 – 5 years experience of working with financial services applications

• Understanding of formal software test design techniques

• Testing Script development experience using any Testing Tools (QTP, WinRunner, Silk etc.,)

• Proven leadership experience in managing large cross-functional teams and the flexibility to influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally

Mandatory Skills:

• Automation script development skills (using any programming language)

• Strong VB scripting, Excel Macros, QTP skills

• Demonstrated the ability to follow QA process and standards

• Demonstrated the understanding of the SDLC

· Experience with web testing methods and writing SQL queries

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision, adapting quickly to new technologies

• Ability to quickly comprehend project goals/requirements, identify holes/omissions and testing challenges/impediments

• Establish collaborative relationships with other teams to ensure success of project test phases

• Anticipate problems or issues that may arise, forecast high risk areas in software and drive resolution

• Provide timely and meaningful test result updates to management

• Demonstrated competencies critical to success: Strategy and execution orientation, leadership, resource management and communication.

• Ability to deliver on ideas from concept through to implementation.

· Excellent Project Coordination and Project tracking skills

· Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

· Must demonstrate strong time management skills & ability to prioritize one"s own work

· Must have excellent verbal and written skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test case identification

· Excellent work ethic

Qualifications

· Graduated in Computer science, Computer engineering, math, or related engineering fields (E.g B.Sc, B.E or MCA, M.Tech in Computers / Electronics etc.,)

· 7+ years work experience in software testing

· At least 3 - 5 years of Automation and Framework development, writing queries

· At least 3 – 5 years experience of working with financial services applications.
