The Bankruptcy Processing team manages the compliance with the Federal Bankruptcy Law for Chase mortgage loans which are affected by chapter 7, 11, or 13 bankruptcy. The MB PHL Sr Specialist III position will provide default loan monitoring for JPMorgan Chase"s Bankruptcy Operations. As a Bankruptcy Sr Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently monitoring mortgage loans that are affected by chapter 7, 11, or 13 bankruptcy.

The Sr Specialist will provide real-time assistance to Bankruptcy Specialists, including trainees, on process-related inquiries. He/She will enforce a standardized communication process, will be the Subject Matter Expert for line of business processes, supports identified low performers of the line of business through side by side sessions, coaching, and account reviews to improve the Specialists' performance, provides real time floor support to Specialists' queries and issues through floor walking to ensure that work queue is done efficiently, facilitates process training to new hires, cross skill training to tenured hires, and refresher training to employees coming back from LOA if needed, creates/revises job aids for operations by referring to existing procedures to be used as reference materials if needed, cascades procedure updates through team huddles to keep Specialists up to date with procedure changes, prepares and administers knowledge checks for operations/quality teams to test their grasp of process-related information and also, per result, determine need for remediation, resolves calibration issues through facilitation of calibration calls and attending dispute sessions to minimize any identified procedural gaps, drives process improvement by revisiting existing processes and aligning this into the current business goal to ensure efficiency, and supports special projects by getting involved in the Operations/Training team's initiatives as needed.

Desired profile

Qualifications:

§ One year mortgage and/or banking experience preferred

§ Prior bankruptcy knowledge / experience preferred

§ Prior collections experience a plus

§ Exemplary time management skills

§ Able to multi task, work in a fast-paced challenging work environment

§ High School Diploma required

§ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

§ Ability to operate with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks at one time while meeting stringent deadlines
§ Ability to negotiate, influence, and exhibit sound judgment, and decision making to protect assets
