Job description
Global Business & Document Services (GBDS) is the corporation's primary print production and distribution unit for JPMorgan Chase client collateral including account statements, advices, payroll checks and tax forms among others. GBDS consists of two departments: Global Business Services and Global Document Services.
Global Business Services (GBS) manages day to day support services such as transportation, mail, copy centers, overnight courier and SmartPrint, which are vital to the internal operations of JPMorgan Chase.
Global Document Services (GDS) prints, inserts and mails over 1.1 billion mailpieces annually. GDS supports internal lines of business such as Retail, Credit Card Services, Retirement Plan Services, Private Bank and Treasury Services.
The Distribution Services job family includes a variety of Operations processing functions including the receipt and distribution of customer-related items and the tracking or manifesting of outgoing items. Supports and interacts with LOB partners, customers, and vendors to satisfy related inquiries and guidance concerning services provided by the business.
As a Receipt & Distribution Specialist you will:
▪ Receives, sorts and delivers/picks up items to and from internal and external sources
▪ Operates functional equipment
▪ Stages work for courier pickup including required manifest and documentation
▪ Receives, scans, weighs, and extracts incoming work
▪ Identifies receipt of tampered work and escalates as appropriate
