Junior RAD Developer (Excel VBA) – Rates Technology 
 
CIB Technology at JPMorgan Chase, provides the best-in-class software development services to deliver, maintain and support strategic and secure technology platforms and solutions for CIBs shared services and global business, encompassing Equities, Fixed Income, Investor Services, Banking and Treasury Services.

Rates Technology supports the Rates and derivatives businesses globally. This covers front office and operations users in Risk, Pricing, P&L, Market data, Trade Capture and Transaction management.

 
The Role
 
We are looking for a Junior RAD Developer with EXCEL VBA and an interest in Front Office.
 
You will be working in a fast paced environment with several teams and systems; you will develop enhancements to existing risk and P&L applications. 

Working closely with Front Office and QR, you will design and build new tools to assist the business with trading decisions and risk management.

Supporting traders on a day to day basis with front office technology and building close working relationships with trading and QR.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to see many aspects of Front Office processes – Risk, P&L, Trade Capture and Market Data.

We will give you the opportunity to work closely with Trading and Quantitative Analysts as well as Middle Office & Control Functions.  You will also be given the opportunity to develop in Python on Athena. 
The successful candidate will have;
·  MS Excel / VBA development skills
·  MS SQL Server development skills
·  Experience of at least one of Interest Rate derivatives, Fixed income, FX derivatives or Credit derivatives.
·  Experience of working with Front Office trading desks.

You will be at an advantage if you also have;
·  Mathematics, Computer science or numerical related degree strongly desirable
·  Experience of Python development an advantage
