Role & Opportunity

JPMM eXecute has a global development team of 25+ focused on providing technology solutions to solve our clients’ needs. The team partners with the global Markets Execution, Sales and Research businesses and has responsibility for client-facing technology deliveries providing thousands of users with capabilities covering electronic trading, pre-trade analytics and post trade operations.
We are searching for front-end JavaScript engineers to join our expanding team.

JPMorgan’s eXecute platform is currently written in Flex. In this role you will be responsible for re-engineering the platform into JavaScript and HTML5, as well as building and supporting client-side functionality for the platform.

Responsibility for:
· Re-engineering, building and supporting client-side functionality for JPMorgan’s eXecute platform
· Working with BAs and UX to perform technical analysis of client requirements.
· Contributing to clean, scalable, modular, well structured, and testable code.

Desirable Experience:

We seek Front-End Developers who are highly motivated with a track record of success. In addition, you will have:

· Experience in building high-performance front-end applications.
· A clear understanding of messaging technologies and back-end services.
· In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and its idiosyncrasies.
· Strong computer science foundations.
· A clear understanding of OO and functional programming paradigms.
· Experience in full software development lifecycle with agile methodologies.
· Experience in test driven development using modern source control and continuous integration.
· Experience leveraging modern frameworks, libraries, tools and languages

Optional Experience

Ideally, you would also have:
· Experience in Investment Banking, FinTech, or Financial Markets
· Experience with the following tools & technologies
· TypeScript
· React
· Redux
· Immutable.js
· RXJS
· Webpack, Grunt and NPM
· Electron, web workers and multi-process architecture
· Automation and TDD with Karma and Jasmine
