Centralized Transaction Operations IT (CTO IT) delivers timely solutions using the best design and implementation tools, including Service Oriented Architecture, Business Application Monitoring and Business Process Management, in order to continuously improve business processes while taking an outside-in, customer-centric perspective.

We are actively seeking an Application Developer Lead to support quality analysis of our technology and deliver solutions that enhance the Chase business. Centralized Transaction Operations IT (CTO IT) delivers timely solutions using the best design and implementation tools, including Service Oriented Architecture, Business Application Monitoring and Business Process Management, in order to continuously improve business processes while taking an outside-in, customer-centric perspective.

Our current team is made up of extremely talented programmers who can solve complex problems and who can take on a challenge head on, are self-motivated, who love using the latest technologies, and are well versed on programming and architecture best-practices.

On our team you'll have the ability to apply all that you've learned enhancing a system that provides a lot of value to Chase on a daily basis. You'll be crafting code that matters. You'll have the ability to introduce new technology/solutions if they make sense. We are a leading edge team who are not afraid to try new things. We are heavy users of open-source tools, applications, and libraries. The vast majority of our work is done on a "lights out" straight through transaction processing engine. We have only minimal front-end (web-based of course) work.

Desired profile

·  Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
·  Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation
·  3+ years experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation
·  Technical lead experience preferred
·  3+ years experience with Java and JSP
·  Crystal Reporting experience or similar tool
·  3+ years experience working in a Unix environment
·  1+ year experience with Spring (Core and Web)
·  Experience developing JavaScript for a Production-level application
·  Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment
·  Test-infected attitude (strong desire to perform thorough and exhaustive unit, integration and system testing)
·  Bachelors in Computer Science or Related Field

Desired Skills:

·  3+ years experience with a JEE/EJB Application Server
·  3+ years experience working with Web Services (preferably using WebLogic or Apache Axis)
·  Exposure to Open Source technologies (Apache Ant, jQuery, JUnit, Log4J, Apache Maven)
·  Exposure to ATDD (Selenium/Cucumber), UFT, LISA, ALM, JIRA
·  Strong experience in AGILE is preferred.
·  Strong working knowledge of DB2 Experience creating SoapUI Test Cases using Groovy
