Java Software Engineer

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. We are a team responsible for delivering the technological solutions for a CIB’s leading strategic messaging platform. Our application processes trades approximately 15 million records per day and is looking to scale further. Along with core processing our application develops & maintains platform API’s to be consumed by adopter teams, to easily integrate & fulfil their business processing requirement. Considering its strategic platform used across CIB along with business functionality, there is also active focus on capacity, performance & high resiliency aspect of an application.
As a Java developer, you will be working on the Redwing messaging platform and its components. These include working on feature requests and platform enhancements. Level 3 support is also required and is approximately 1 week in 8.
