eProcessing Team Background
eProcessing Team is responsible for all post-trade workflows for the Credit Derivatives Business globally. This includes workflows both Internal and External to the Bank. (Regulatory Reporting, Clearing, Novations, Allocations)
Internally we support a number of Blotters, Control and Workflow components that are used across the main Trading Regions; APAC, EMEA and NA for the Spread businesses.
The Individual:
The Software development model currently u level is an accelerated waterfall with multiple releases per year. The key Skillset for an Associate Level developer are as follows.
Design build and supports technology solutions fit for business use in transaction processing workflow space for Spread Trading. Evaluate options, risks and costs versus benefits of technology solutions, including challenging assumptions and making recommendations.
Always ensure complete understanding of problem and delivery, partnering with business users, business analysts and wider development team to deliver high quality software. participate and take ownership of deliveries. Identifies and evaluate tactical and strategic technology needs of the business.
Work closely with an offshore Build and QA Team and analysts in primary sites to ensure quality.
Desired profile
Qualifications
· University level degree
· Experience and background in Financial Organisations;
· Credit Derivatives a preference
· Derivatives, Securities, Rates, Equities also accepted
· Demonstrated ability to deliver software solutions to timeframe using established methodology
· Good communication skills
· Understanding of XML based messaging workflows -
· Experience of workflow tools and systems is beneficial
· Must be able to work with aggressive timelines and manage multiple deliverables
· Plan and Prioritise workload and communicate status regularly
· Respond to PROD issues and provide solutions according to urgency
· Experience in partnering with global technology teams to deliver an end-2-end solution
· Experience integrating software with external vendors, particularly with DTCC
· Ability to establish good relationships with key users
