About the team

The Global Cash Equities Technology Group supports a well-established major business unit in the JPMorgan Investment Bank. Our group is responsible for providing a true multi-asset Sales Order Management system for Equities that will cover cash, swaps, listed options and futures. The system will be used by multiple lines of business such as Equities, Derivative and Program Trading and will replace existing legacy platform.

About the role

The Equities Execution Services Technology department is looking for a Java Server Side Applications Developer to cover the strategic Sales Order Management System.

The ideal candidate will have experience including but not limited to;
• Hands on development experience with core Java
• Experience of Low Latency Environments
• Strong understanding of Spring / Sybase / Test driven development / Agile methodology.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code, and design patterns.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• To be involved with all phases of SDLC.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Proactively improving process to ensure the quality of the deliverables and the efficiency of the team improves.
• The role will be based in London, and will entail both working closely with the London Business and our Global partners.
