AWMIAS (Asset and Wealth Management Infrastructure and Application Services) offers infrastructure and application support services to all of JP Morgan Asset and Wealth Management customer base. As part of this organization, we support critical IT infrastructure with a wide technology base.

The AWMIAS Geneva UNIX and Middleware Team Member is part of a team of UNIX and Middleware System Administrators with local and global colleagues. The person reports into the local UNIX and Middleware Team Lead.

Responsibilities
·  Support of production and non-production UNIX, VMware, and Middleware environments
·  24x7 on-call rota for Swiss production environments
·  Execution of patching, hygiene, cyber, resiliency activities. Most of these activities require week-end work.
·  Certificates management
·  System builds and decommissions as part of projects
·  Enforcement of corporate standards and policies on managed infrastructure
·  Automation of services
Qualifications

Technical skills
·  Linux RHEL – strong knowledge required
·  Apache Tomcat – strong knowledge required
·  VMware ESX – prior experience expected
·  Strong knowledge of automation products such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt, CfEngine
·  Mastering of scripting languages and development toolset; Shell, Python, Perl, Git, Jenkins
·  Knowledge on the following products is a plus: AIX, Websphere, Autosys
