The HR Business Partner will drive HR strategy and provide solutions various client groups within Asset Management. He or she will partner with the business to execute a variety of HR activities including talent and performance management, compensation and promotions, recruiting, learning & development and diversity initiatives. The HRBP will act as an advocate for employees and internal consultant to managers on people, performance and organizational issues.

As a member of the AM HR team, the HRBP will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of the broader people agenda. Primary responsibilities will be managing and analyzing people-related data, helping in the implementation of HR policies and programs, advising employees on HR-related issues and partnering across HR functions (Recruiting, Learning & Development, Compensation, Employee Relations) to deliver the best solution for our clients. The HRBP must have a strong focus on our culture and values, demonstrate a risk and control mindset and use sound judgment in everything he/she does.

Desired profile


The individual is expected to be highly productive, hands-on, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, a consultative approach and comfort with large amounts of data are keys to success in this role. The ideal candidate will also have:
• 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably at a financial services firm
• Demonstrated ability to provide HR consultation to managers and employees on HR issues regarding staffing, compensation, HR policies and performance management
• A strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high proficiency in managing data with the ability to analyze it and “tell the story”
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with clients and HR colleagues
• Ability to handle large amounts of confidential/sensitive information on a frequent basis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Peoplesoft and other HR system
