The Coverage Strategy Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be part of the team responsible for overseeing the JPMC Firmwide AML Risk Scoring Utility (RSU). Primary responsibilities include assisting in the management of the risk scoring standards and methodology, understanding the AML regulatory environment and how regulatory changes impact the risk scoring methodology and the RSU, evaluating RSU output, as well as understanding the impact of changes and event scenarios on the RSU and the downstream businesses.

Responsibilities:
· Assist in the management and maintenance of the risk scoring standards and methodology
· Understand AML regulatory environment and how regulatory expectations impact the risk scoring methodology and the RSU
· Evaluate RSU output(e.g., risk rating distributions), and feedback such as overrides across the businesses and regions
· Understand the impact of internal (such as policy changes) and external (such as regulatory guidance) changes on the RSU and the downstream businesses
· Coordinate with the businesses, Compliance, KYC Policy, Technology, and the Analytics teams to ensure KYC activities are properly covered
· Interpret and communicate risk scoring requirements in a clear and effective manner
· Provide additional ad-hoc support to other Global Financial Crimes, AML, and KYC workstreams as necessary

Desired profile

Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance, Audit, and/or Regulatory experience at a large financial institution or consulting firm
· Basic knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) , USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act, and/or AML regulations, as well as AML risks posed by the bank's businesses and product offerings
· Familiarity with customer risk scoring methodology and risk factors
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, )
· Strong analytical skills; able to evaluate diverse factors and develop proper conclusions/recommendations
· Ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
· Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
