Full-stack Software Engineer - Credit Sales Desktop

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

The Sales Desktop team within CIB Fixed Income Technology is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to work on building out next-generation technology platform for the global team of Fixed Income sales traders. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, excellent problem solving skills, is interested in working in a collaborative team environment, has a positive attitude and thrives in a dynamic business and technology setting.
Required Skills:

·  Successful track record in developing re-usable and highly dynamic web applications in HTML5/Javascript
·  Hands-on professional experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework and building RESTful services/APIs
·  Hands-on professional experience with any of: JavaScript, React, Angular JS, JQuery, Polymer
·  Thorough understanding of object oriented programming, data structures, design patterns
·  Strong working knowledge of messaging protocols and products (Kafka, TIBCO/EMS, Solace, Software AG Nirvana etc)
·  Strong working knowledge of SQL and databases (SQL Server, Oracle etc)
·  Strong working knowledge of caching technologies (Redis, Cassandra etc)
·  A demonstrably high level of competency in multi-threaded solutions
·  Excellent problem solving skills / ability to work well under pressure
·  Excellent communication skills
