We need your expertise:

Hands-on, full-stack development of large-scale Java-based applications comprising Javascript/HTML5 front end & web services:
· Service Oriented Architecture – APIs, Micro services, Messaging, Caching
· Data – Oracle
· Web – Web Services, REST, Spring, HTML5 / Ext JS / React / AngularJS
· Mobile and Multimedia – Familiarity with Video and Mobile/iOS development a plus

Desired profile

Overall Qualifications
·  3-10 years of work experience in developing, enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class applications using Java/J2EE
·  Problem-solving ability
·  Innovates and is interested in new development techniques and technologies, especially Cloud adoption, Big Data, etc.
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Self-starter who is able to multi-task on several deliverables
·  Experience with UI design

Required Skills
·  Hands on experience in designing and developing large client facing applications
·  Strong foundation in Object Oriented Programming and Design Principles (OOP / OOD)
·  Use of software engineering best practices such as design review, code review, unit testing, software quality metrics, and re-factoring
·  Familiarity with testing practices such as TDD, BDD
·  Strong Java development skills, including core Java, IoC container – Spring, and integration frameworks such as JMS
·  Thorough understanding of Web architecture and technologies
·  Professional experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 development
·  Ample background in MVC/MVP programming and modern web frameworks like ExtJS, Angular 2, React/Redux
·  Ability to support cross-browser user base
·  Performance critical development, incorporating services such as distributed in-memory caches (HazelCast, GemFire, EHCache, Terracotta)
·  Web service experience, including knowledge of REST, XML/JSON, SOA, Microservices, WSDL, WS-Security and XSD
·  Persistence technologies such as Oracle Database, MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop HBASE, with an architectural eye towards applying these solutions towards a problem
·  Ability to debug and optimize web apps
·  Expertise with version control systems (e.g. Subversion, Git)
·  Understanding of security principles in software development
·  Familiar with Linux/Unix env, including working with shell, ssh, and other command line tools
·  Cloud development / deployment experience – AWS, Azure, CloudFoundry, OpenStack, and others
·  Collaborative, distributed project teams, knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, KanBan)

Desired Skills
·  Exposure to UX, improving interaction and UI visual designs
·  Experience with Excel/VBA is a plus
·  Familiarity with reporting frameworks
·  Exposure to usage metrics and analytics
·  Knowledge of mobile development
·  Multimedia web experience, e.g. HTML5 video/audio
·  Financial Services industry experience
