FIX API Onboarding Application Support – Vice President – London

 

 

We are searching for a strong and proactive technologist to join our ecommerce team integrating and supporting foreign exchange API clients. The technologist will work with a high-frequency, low-latency business, and will work closely with the front office sales and trading desks. The role requires some finance experience, and candidates must be highly motivated with a track record of success. We prefer candidates with a broad range of technical experience, including FIX integration and some application development or scripting. The candidate will interact directly with our clients, and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to represent the firm well.

 

In this role, the candidate will be expected to know the clients, understand their trading needs, and work regularly with the trading and sales teams to ensure healthy client relationships. The candidate would also identify opportunities in the API trading business, and work closely with the front office to improve the product and ensure that the bank offers the most competitive API trading platform available.

 

Responsibilities:

· 
FIX client onboarding

· 
Working to integrate clients into direct API , 3rd party venue

· 
Integration into Algo API tracking and prioritize tasks

· 
Working on integrating clients into our Rates API

· 
Production support of clients onboarded

Qualifications:
·  Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or scientific field, or equivalent experience
·  Deep FIX integration experience
·  Knowledge of Python or other scripting tools. Java preferred.
·  Good knowledge of FIX protocols, and familiarity with FIX vendor software
·  Ability to build strong relationships with business and technology partners
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Experience
·  Foreign Exchange and Rates market experience
