Department Description:

RFT is responsible for the development & maintenance of the firm’s Financial Application platforms. Providing services in mainframe, mid-range, client server, desktop and web-based technologies.

AD Team: EMEA RAD (Microsoft RAD)

Responsible for the development and support of a large number of productivity tools developed in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and SQL Server. The majority of these tools assist Finance staff in completing reporting and/or data analysis tasks within a larger process.  The team is also involved in developing some larger scale systems to support end-to-end processes. Clients are based in the UK, various European locations and India.

The Team’s current portfolio consists of 135+ Desktop. These range from simple import/format/output tools to complex multi-user, multi-function, multi-tool applications.

This role will be based in London and some unsociable working hours may be required.

London based Microsoft Developer/Support Analyst.

Technical Skills
 
Must have:
·  Very good development knowledge of Access 2007/10/13, Excel and VBA for both single and multi-user environments.
·  SQL Server, .NET/ASP
·  Experience of full Project life-cycle – requirements, analysis/design, build, test, implementation, support/maintenance.

Ideally have:
·  Worked in a Banking/Financial environment
·  Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint

Preferable to have:
·  Knowledge of basic Accounting principles
·  Product Knowledge
·  Regulatory Control/Reporting Knowledge
