About the team Macro technology is an organization with responsibility for a large technology portfolio spanning FX, Rates and Commodities. A technology organization of this size and complexity has the dual challenge of both delivering solutions to trading while also managing the tech platform evolution. To assist in both challenges the organization has established a domain architecture function with responsibility for leading domain wide architecture activities. About the role Within this function there exists the need for a dedicated data architect to lead data architecture activities for the domain. This is a hands-on applied role which involves defining then working with application development to follow architecture through to production and successful business outcomes.Responsibilities - Lead data architecture activities for the Macro domain o Work with subject matter experts to define the architecture for key data dimensions (exchange price feed, client, instrument, pre-trade order flow o Follow target state architecture through to implementation in projects - Be the point of contact for CIB architecture and initiatives and represent the Macro domain

Desired profile

Skills required - Bachelor degree in computer science/computer/electrical engineering/maths/physics or equivalent experience - Deep knowledge/experience of at least one functional area of electronic trading (risk, pricing, execution, connectivity, trade processing) - Experience in designing technology solutions and evaluating technology products and designs - Experience in solution architecture - Development experience or eTrading experience preferred, but not required - Exposure to data architecture tools & techniques preferred - Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work with and influence across teams About J.P.
