Our Team

The Private Banking Centralized Lending Team (CLT) is a center of excellence designed to handle a high volume of lower risk credit transactions all fully secured by high quality marketable securities with standard loan documentation. CLT promises two day turnaround on credit approval and sending out loan documentation. The CLT Analyst works with a CLT Lender to deliver outstanding service to our clients.

Desired profile


The Role
·Provide deal support and take responsibility for completing deal‐related tasks in accordance with the bank's policies particularly in the following areas:
o Evaluation of borrower
o Evaluation of collateral
o Evaluation of risks and mitigates
o Preparation of Credit Approval memos
o Analysis and preparation of documentation
·Responsibility for keeping the deal pipeline up‐ to‐date
·Responsibility for ensuring the annual reviews for the relevant region are completed on a timely basis
·Responsibility for ensuring follow up on all relevant open items and transactional issues, e.g. missing documentation, collateral shortfalls, unauthorized overdraft, etc…
·Assist with special ad hoc projects and credit initiatives
·Respond to Lender/ Banker/ Client Service/ Capital Advisor inquiries
Requirements
·Bachelor degree in a related field required
·Dynamism and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
·Clear communicator (written/oral) across all levels and geographies
·Competent financial analysis skills, ability to read balance sheets and calculate ratios
·Understanding of legal issues and ability to read and analyze legal documentation
·Sound business judgment and risk sensitivity
·Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
·Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Fluency in English and French
