We are the Equities Electronic Trading Liquidity Team responsible for the execution of global equities, options and futures orders for both internal and external clients. Our main products are Smart Order Router (SOR) and Internal Crossing (JPM-X) which optimizes execution for orders facilitated by JPMorgan. These products support global business including Equities Capital Markets, Equities Derivatives, Cash Equities and Portfolio Trading. This is critical role that has a high visibility and impact on the various businesses within the investment bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for design, development and enhancements for the SOR and JPM-X. These include: · Customization of pre-programmed “tactics” to meet specific business requirements in various markets across regions. · Infrastructure and applications to improve order/execution throughput, latency and resilience to meet ever growing business demands. · Ensure consistent functional and technical design and deliver clear, concise technical design documentation and code. · Full project life cycle-requirements analysis, design, development, testing and production rollout.

Desired profile

The role entails interaction with product experts, traders and quantitative analysts to understand requirements and formulate potential solutions for the product. The role offers the scope to gather requirements directly and to collaborate with the end users into coding the desired solution. Essential / Mandatory Experience, Skills & Knowledge 1. Strong object-oriented design and development experiences in C++ on Unix/Linux platform 2. Strong multi-threaded programming and debugging skill 3. Experience / knowledge in design of message-based / reactive system 4. Familiarity of system tuning, latency monitoring and application profiling 5. Familiarity of real-time market data layer development 6. Electronic Trading Development Experience - Plus
