Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves 50 million customers with a broad range of consumer financial services, including personal banking, investment advice, small business lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments and auto financing. Our 160,000 employees serve our customers by following Chase"s Five Keys to A Great Customer Experience. The Development Officer will partner with CCB L&OD to support key strategic priorities. Development Officers will support the delivery and program management of professional skills for CCB. Officers will work independently, and as a member of a team, to achieve established departmental goals. This role may mentor or provide guidance to others to ensure consistency of delivery.

Facilitation (~50%)
· Facilitates classroom and virtual training for class sizes ranging from 8 – 50+ participants
· Demonstrates strong proficiency in delivery by assessing the participants" understanding of course content and changing delivery method accordingly. Quickly reacts to the learning needs of participants and integrates CCB and JPMC real world scenarios into the learning experience
· Demonstrates strong proficiency in virtual delivery, able to set–up, facilitate and close out classes using virtual platforms (including WebEx, Adobe Connect, etc.), trouble shoot technology issues and utilize full functionality of the platform without producer support
· Maintains program/module certifications and is viewed as proficient in all assigned content based on departmental and personal objectives
· Demonstrates confidence, professionalism and credibility with all levels of audience and delivers content in a meaningful and organized manner
· Mentors peers, shares best practices and contributes to efforts to elevate delivery (completes observations and provides feedback as applicable)
· Quickly learns and delivers unfamiliar topics with minimal notice or preparation time to meet business needs
· Conducts and supports Train the Trainer initiatives as required
· Identifies and resolves needed updates to training program content, communicates the updates to the delivery team, ensures prioritization alignment with manger
· Stays current and adapts easily to changes in course content, policies and procedures, and regulations
· Consistently adheres to pre/post administrative requirements for all courses in a timely fashion, as outlined in the Facilitator Checklist
· Prepares classroom materials and sets-up room prior to class (e.g. tent cards, flip charts, etc.)
· Closes rosters, returns classroom to pre-class condition, and secures training facility after class
· Completes expense reports, program evaluations, class rosters and other administrative documentation in a timely manner as required

Project /Program Support (~50%)
· Provides program support for key initiatives, including research, preparation and assessment administration
· Executes communication plans and key messages in alignment with overall planning process
· Manages logistics of L & OD events including enrollment of participants, ordering and shipping materials, pre-work process and scheduling facilities
· Independently manages assigned projects, including proactive communication of status and escalation of issues to all appropriate stakeholders
· Self-directed and able to handle multiple tasks at one time; ability to manage competing priorities
· Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations using both qualitative and quantitative factors; excel skills preferred with ability to decipher information as needed by audience
· Strong ability to assess current trends and gaps to recommend solutions
· Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix environment
· Effective communication and influence skills (verbal and written)
· Demonstrates good judgment and able to make decisions to support the business
· Strong project management discipline and metrics driven orientation
· Excellent time management skills, ability to effectively prioritize, follow through and attention to detail

Desired profile

Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years HR/L&OD experience including demonstrated ability to provide consultation to colleagues and business leaders
· Experience supporting large, organizational change and engagement initiatives
· 2-4 years line of business managerial experience
· Ability to travel 50% of time with minimal advanced notice
· Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
