Organization & Team Overview:

The Financial Information Reporting Solutions (FIRS) team facilitates the development and execution of business strategy through business management, planning and analysis. The team is focused on implementing cost effective and quality driven staffing models, as well as standardizing and centralizing oversight and control. The FIRS team will help to define and deliver target state operating model and technology requirements to strategically source data required for both internal and external reporting. The team will also assist in positioning the firm to better respond to changing regulatory environments and internal demand requests by deploying change centrally versus de-centrally.

Position Overview:

In the role of Finance Operations Associate on the FRI Operations team, you will be focused on supporting the production processing activities, including reconciliations and data validations. Additionally you will provide support to the business users of the FRI application by supporting and managing client relations, communications, issue resolution, presentations, operating support models, procedures, system access/security as well as process improvements. Interacting with other FIRS and RFT (Risk & Finance Technology) partners as well as escalating issues as needed to the appropriate team(s) and management. Considerable involvement in projects/testing affecting Business Users and FRI application through the full project life cycle (Requirements, Design, SIT testing, UAT testing, Performance testing, Regression testing and Implementation phases) of projects. Provide updates to the project teams on the status of the testing activities. This position requires strong interpersonal and partnership skills. Also, the ability to partner with Risk & Finance Technology, Project Teams and Line of Business Teams in order to manage and execute on established deliverables. The candidate will be required to work with a sense of urgency and be able to balance and prioritize numerous activities. Previous experience in reconciliation, research and data mining is preferred.
