Job description

The Risk Credit Operation (RCO) supports the credit approval and decision making processes for Credit Risk Management (CRM). RCO is actively involved in the analysis of credit data and risk metrics in addition to identifying trends and issues which may impact the bank's ability to manage credit risk.

The purpose of the Credit Risk Middle Office is to establish and maintain a common approach to controls and operational workflows across the risk management infrastructure in support of the Corporate Investment Bank. The Credit Risk Middle Office provides operational support for Credit Risk Management which includes the following functions:

· Rules Based Funds processing, annual reviews, Net Asset Value gathering and exceptions monitoring.
· Annual review support and client reference data maintenance are performed for asset managers, hedge funds, financial institutions, governments and corporate client
· Generating various credit reports on a periodic basis.

A team member in the RCO is expected to deliver on the specific tasks and requirements:

Description of Responsibilities

· Ensuring accuracy on performing BAU related activities / tasks and non disclosure of client information by preserving client confidentiality

· Researching on any queries/ requests sent by the Business Partners/Counterparts and replying to the same within minimum response time

· Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with the Business partners/Clients as well as the people in the support groups

· Active participation in process improvements and automation/enhancements to current activities / tasks

· Ensure Quality Control standards that have been set for all processes that are carried out in the team

· Manage the workflow of tasks / activities, queries, issues and requests made to the respective team (using a call-tracking database, etc)

· Liaise with RCO onshore groups in EMEA/NA/Asia regions

· Achieving the daily/weekly and monthly volume targets

· Produce weekly metrics on these requests

· Participate in UAT (user acceptance testing) on enhancements and changes to RCO systems; including analyzing the impact of enhancements on RCO reporting

· Maintain essential business, client and corporate data in RCO systems to facilitate accurate reporting

· Other duties as assigned

Desired profile

·  BA or BS degree preferably in Finance / Business
·  Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in operations / banking industry
·  Basic knowledge of investment banking products preferable, but not required
·  Prior experience working in a middle office or back-office team a plus
·  Strong skills / knowledge of MS Office Products (e.g. Excel, Outlook, etc.)
·  Strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Team player with ability to work with colleagues in a collaborative manner, as well as ability to manage prioritization
·  Flexible; ability to work as needed in order to meet business demands
·  Able to work accurately and effectively under pressure
·  Effective time management skills
