Confidentiality Agreement Negotiator / Information Gatekeeper

Wholesale Loan Operations (WLO) services several lines of businesses within JPMorgan Chase, including Business Banking, Global Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Commercial Banking. The group consists of approximately 1,300 employees worldwide and is responsible for over $500 billion in loans outstanding.

Credit Information Management is a team within Wholesale Loan Operations of the Commercial Bank. The team manages confidential information pursuant to internal information barriers and in close coordination with Legal, Compliance, Trading and Research teams, as appropriate. Credit Information Management also prepares negotiates and executes confidentiality agreements with external trading counterparties in the secondary loan trading market and bankruptcy claims trading markets, primarily.

Responsibilities:

· Actively review and screen information to ascertain appropriateness for public-side Sales & Trading personnel in compliance with information barriers
· Collaborate with Sales and Trading to draft confidentiality agreements relating to secondary loan trading and claims trading matters. Manage the agreement process and coordinate with Legal and Sales and Trading for any required negotiation with clients
· Engage Sales and Trading and external clients regarding questions or status inquiries relating to confidentiality agreements
· Source and prepare information for distribution to clients pursuant to executed confidentiality agreements. This includes preparing and updating web-based due diligence data rooms via Intralinks and granting access to information

Desired profile

Qualifications:

· J.D. required
· Experience with investment bank legal or compliance dept. strongly preferred
· Keen attention to detail and strong control-focused mindset
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills
· Knowledge of syndicated bank loans and bankruptcy trade claims preferred, not required
· Knowledge of Intralinks, Debtdomain, Syndtrak helpful but not required
