Transaction Processing Specialist, Wholesale Loan Operations, Chicago, IL

Wholesale Loan Operations (WLO) services several lines of businesses within JPMorgan Chase, including Business Banking, Global Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Commercial Banking. The group consists of approximately 1,300 employees and is responsible for over $500 billion in loans outstanding.

The Transaction Processing Specialist will be working a portfolio of customers on ACBS and VLS for Middle Market, Business Banking and Global Wealth Management. Candidate will be performing tasks such as processing payments and advances, and researching and maintaining accounts. There are a number of reports that are worked in relation to the servicing of the portfolio. They will also be asked to participate in projects assigned by the Manager. High volumes and daily deadlines are routine for this portfolio.
Responsibilities may include:
· Researching tax, insurance and escrow issues, communicating payment status and reviewing payment histories, responding to Loan Status Requests, and other requests from outside companies and departments within the Bank.
· Set up, update and close accounts for clients on JPMorganChase systems, and maintain related records; prepare or assist in preparing any necessary documents.
· Coordinate the receipt and transfer of assets with various internal and external parties.
· Managing files or preparing files for imaging.

Desired profile

Qualifications:
·  Bachelors degree plus 1-3 years of loan servicing and customer servicer experience or equivalent is required
·  Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-pressure environment.
·  Strong client focus mind-set with proficiency in consulting/advising clients, answering inquiries and providing information, and effectively managing difficult conversations.
·  Demonstrated focus on ownership, follow-up, and relationship management.
·  Ability to multitask: type while listening, view multiple screens and systems while conversing with the caller.
·  Strong PC navigation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office suite
·  Basic mathematics/accounting understanding
