Full-time Associate
The CBI offers professionals an exceptional career opportunity to serve as a full-time Associate and to play an integral role in developing banking solutions for our European client base. This position will support the International Coverage Executives (ICEs) with primary responsibilities including: helping market the bank’s cash management products to a defined client & prospect base; assisting with strategic relationship & portfolio management; navigating the Firm for our clients and working in close partnership with US origination teams (International Product Specialists (IPSs), US Bankers (Corporate Client Banking & Middle Market Bankers)) as well as Product Specialists from across the Firm to identify and support the banking needs and requirements of CB clients. You will work with professionals across the business and within the broader bank as you organize the general support function for the client-facing ICEs. This will include marketing and pitch material, client briefings, call memos, management of client follow-up, database management and maintenance. Other responsibilities would include:
As this is essentially a "preparation for ICE" role, the key objective is ultimately to acquire the skill set and contact network required to assume responsibility for a portfolio of clients in the future.
• Interfacing with clients on day-to-day service issues/product enquiries;
• Leverage internal/external contacts to support clients and ICEs;
•Assist colleagues in maintaining the integrity of relationship management systems such as Customer Knowledge Centre and Client Central;
•Accompany ICEs on targeted client calls;
• Onsite relationship & business development support such as collecting and reviewing data for pipeline and market reports, tracking closed deals for revenue reporting purposes and ensuring accuracy of management information;
•Responsibilities include the support of ICE officers through the preparation of proposals and presentations for existing and prospective customers, acting as back-up in the relationship management of existing clients and supporting the implementation of new client solutions;
•Given the evolving nature of the team, the Associate will be responsible for supporting new business development initiatives in new markets and client segments;
•Supporting Team Financial reporting efforts; and
•Manage extensive internal (bank) and external (client) contact at all levels.

Qualifications / Experience
Candidates interested in becoming a full-time employee with the CBI:
Degree level qualification with experience in client service, sales, or portfolio management support with proven problem solving experience is required.
•Client-facing experience and/or Treasury Services product knowledge (in particular Trade, Liquidity and Core Cash Management) preferred.
•Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving, time management and analytical skills are required. Business development experience would be of benefit as would knowledge of the broader aspects of the bank’s systems.
•Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point and database software.
•Outstanding interpersonal/communication skills including the ability to negotiate with external clients and internal banking partners.
•Ability to multi-task within a dynamic environment to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
•Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
