Within JPM's Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) group, the Central Insurance Team (CIT) is responsible to ensure compliance with all Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA) regulations, as well as with all insurance requirements in loan documents, and within corporate policy. This specialized position supports all loan products offered, from origination and through the life of the loan. CIT is seeking an Insurance Analyst that will work with business partners. Candidates will possess a strong background in commercial property & casualty insurance; with experience in reviewing complex insurance documents to ensure compliance. Candidates will be expected to forge strong internal partnerships with the business areas supported, as well as with Compliance, Audit, and Legal.

Responsibilities:
· Be an insurance subject matter expert for our business partners
· Perform complex insurance reviews
· Participate in industry calls relating to insurance
· Participate in large, complex projects
· Demonstrate creative problem solving and solid judgment/decision making

Desired profile

Qualifications:
·  BA/BS degree preferred
·  Minimum 3-5 years of property and casualty experience, including Flood, Windstorm, Seismic, Environmental, Terrorism, Fine Art, Builders Risk, and Liability is preferred; comparable professional experience will be considered
·  Credentialed insurance professional or related experience in financial services
·  Possess or develop an understanding of the Flood Disaster Protection Act and Write Your Own (WYO)/NFIP insurance
·  Independent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment under high pressure situations
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to report results in a clear, concise manner at the appropriate level
·  Excellent time management and organizational skills
·  Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality
·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
·  Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal and external groups
