Cloud and Container Infrastructure Architect

Job description

Athena Core are looking to hire a Cloud and Container Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation aspects of a move to a container based, micro-service architecture (orchestrated by Kubernetes). The design challenge within Athena is particular complex due to the vast size and format of the Athena code base, and hiring experienced architects who have a proven track record of converting such systems to a more micro-service oriented architecture is essential.

Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, public cloud experience (AWS preferred), experience in converting banking applications into container based design patterns.
