The Application Support Analyst will be part of the Production Management(PM) Team. The Successful candidate will form part of a team based in Tampa and Mumbai, providing support to global operations teams in a 24x7 basis on-call support environment. The support team is responsible for managing and responding to queries from the user community, resolving production incidents, managing the close of daily business batches, supporting the development team with deployments and focusing on production.Roles and Responsibilities - ·Support the production environment on a day to day basis by monitoring ticket requests as well as responding to ad hoc requests. ·Must be flexible on hours of work, as the role will involve occasional unsocoable/weekend work ·Execute and/or escalating problem management procedures as necessary ·Perform daily health checks of intraday/overnight system batch processes ·Document support activities, which include support tasks and outages and procedures ·Support projects including deployments, disaster recovery exercises and migrations

Qualifications Soft Skills ·Excellent interpersonal skills are critical in this role ·Problem solving skills - natural inclination towards problem resolution ·Create and maintain effective relationships with teams across the firm to resolve production issues efficiently ·Initiative - ability to think proactively ·Must be available after hours and weekend on-call support ·Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to summarize technical details to a business-oriented audience. Experience/Education Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field Knowledge of banking and accounting would be beneficial but not required Experience of working in a global financial institution
