Department Description Within the CIB CAO Business Architecture and Transformation Group the SCPP-Program team is responsible for delivering strategic platforms for businesses across Markets & Investor Services. Aligned to Securities Core Processing Operations unit, this Change Management function is intended to enhance the risk and control environment, retire legacy systems and create operational synergies and efficiencies. The Team Business Implementation and Test Utility is a technically and functionally (knowledge relevant to Investor Services - Custody and Heritage IB business and technical environment within JP Morgan) qualified delivery team which conducts business implementation and testing for strategic and business as usual change projects and programs. The Role The successful candidate will be working in strategic and BAU change projects and will have understanding of all phases of project life cycle, with daily tasks and responsibilities of business analysis and testing for implementation. It provides an opportunity to work in large scale transformation programs with an exposure to multiple products and business lines. Key responsibilities · Analyze and understand current business processes, events and flows. · Analyze requirements; conduct quality assurance of requirements for completeness, coverage, correctness and testability. Create and execute end to end business scenarios / flows for business validation and testing purposes. Build and maintain requirements traceability. · Create artifacts to validate / verify functional (application) change, its impact and regression impact of change, analyze system flows, transaction life cycles etc and validate functionality. · Build project plan, test plan, time line charts, progress and status reports and conduct lessons learned analysis and action planning. · Identify defects and deviations from original requirements and solution. Conduct root cause analysis. · Assess and highlight key blockers to complete delivery and execution on time. · Efficient usage of tools and accelerators to meet delivery timelines.
Desired profile
Skills Essential: · Background in any of the business areas such as Securities trades processing, Asset servicing, Cash, Prime and / or Trade life cycle activities. · Understanding and experience of project life cycle, implementation and testing. · Experience in relevant Product, Project or Operations teams will complement the role. · Ability to communicate with different teams and functions. · Self starter and motivated to own and complete assigned tasks.
