In this role you will work on a variety of production processes to recommend /deploy solutions that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while preserving day to day operational efficiency, resiliency and corporate best practice.
You will address the CIB's ( Corporate Investment Bank) production management controls compliance gaps, identifying root causes and remediation steps, automation, identifying issues source and proactive mitigation and ensuring accurate, comprehensible high level metrics to management, detailed control breaks to production management staff and process owners and ongoing engagement with CIB's production management teams.
As a Production and Infrastructure Management Technology Controls Officer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
· Determining primary control efficiencies & requirements for production management processes, including Incident Management, Production Monitoring and others.
· Responsible for all IT Risk activities around covered production processes (I.E. Assessment, Control testing, Access Control, Monitoring and improvement)
· Identify areas of risk and devise and implement proper controls. Devise and document action plans to address issues and compensating controls to mitigate control gaps.
· Advise on the relevance of SOX, SSAE16 and other compliance regulations within the Financial Services industry.
· Supporting audits, driving risk remediation and control self assessment (CSA) action plans and substantiation efforts.
· Reviewing vulnerability and compliance reports to ensure risks are being remediated consistently and within SLAs.
· Should have a high energy level and a strong work ethic, be able to function effectively in a large multi-tiered corporate environment and be results oriented. The ability to work as a team player is essential to the success of this position.
· Inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members and third party action owners.
Desired profile
To be successful in this role you will need to show evidence of the following skills and experiences:
· Extensive work experience as a Information Risk Manager or equivalent.
· Solid understanding of technology, operations and business processes
· Experience of business re-engineering/process improvement experience, including leading and coaching quality improvement projects
· Thorough experience of project management and change management
· Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
· Excellent written and oral presentation skills
· Ability to create/define metrics that accurately reflects the current state of a given process
· Ability to coach and transfer knowledge to key stakeholders
