This team provides key governance oversight of KYC Due Diligence Requirements and performs the research and analysis necessary to address policy evaluation requests made by the teams in the KYC Policy Interpretation/Implementation Function. The team members review artifacts to ensure that they are consistent, accurate, complete and approved prior to posting them to a SharePoint site tool which is access to end users. In support of research, the team gathers live examples based on information needed for policy evaluation. This may include interviews (of SMEs/Stakeholders), investigations (i.e., via system reviews, data requests, process flows, etc.) and subsequent documentation of results.

Key Responsibilities

This position has responsibility to provide procedure governance; ensuring that the golden source KYC Due Diligence Requirement related artifacts are maintained and posted for use by end users. Also responsible for completion of KYC research and analysis requests, ensuring that they are processed in a timely manner in order to facilitate Policy Evaluation/Interpretation and related artifact updates. Interaction will occur with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Policy Evaluation, Front Office, Operations, Global Metrics/Reporting and Product Design & Development.

Procedure Governance Functions

· Review and ensure, prior to the upload of Operational Desktop procedures onto the CIB/WCOB Information Portal (SharePoint site), that the artifacts comply with:

• The agreed upon standard procedure format and inventory information (e.g., purpose, owner, approval date, etc.).

• Only approved individuals in KYC Operations have submitted the request for upload

• Completed Artifact Upload Request Form,

• KYC Due Diligence Requirements are NOT included in the Operational Desktop Procedures, and

• Any discrepancies and/or key process differences are highlighted/escalated for resolution (i.e., between the operational units/regions to the Operational Procedure Authors/Owners)

· Periodically review the artifacts stored on the Information Portal to ensure they are current:

• Oversee maintenance (e.g., at least annually) of the stored artifacts, and

• Archive obsolete artifacts




KYC Research & Analysis Functions

· Work with direct manager, Policy Evaluation/Implementation SMEs and other stakeholders to ensure that the scope of the KYC requests are clearly understood, as well as potential sources of information and deliverable dates
· Gather live examples based upon information needed to process the KYC requests using appropriate judgment to ensure efficient samples/data are provided
· Assist in identifying opportunities to leverage existing data or subject matter expertise rather than beginning research from scratch
· Provide statuses (as well as related metrics) on deliverables and keep manager informed of progress/potential concerns; escalating as appropriate

Desired profile

Experience

· 2-5 years experience in business analysis and/or project management through experience with a leading financial institution or related industry

· Strong analytical and research skills

· Experience in assisting with project plan development and delivering the final product as agreed upon by the target date

· Good communication skills including ability to convey complex ideas simply both verbally and written

· Familiarity with SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other Microsoft Office tools
· Previous experience with JPMC related KYC systems (CDD, SKYC, ECM, SCOT, COLT, Client Central, DataHub, etc.) preferred
· Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
