J.P. Morgan Network Management Group is responsible for managing J.P. Morgan"s network of subcustodians in 100+ markets with a focus on understanding client needs and providing market information supporting The Corporate &Investment Bank (CIB). This group is composed of regional teams, located in Bournemouth, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, London, New York and Singapore. These regional teams are comprised of the Network Client Consulting Team, the Market Infrastructure Management Team, the Network Service Management Team and the Information Management and Delivery Team.
The Network Client Consulting team provides direct support to internal and external clients from the Investor Services business mainly from global custody, clearance and prime services. The main responsibilities center on working closely with top clients to understand their strategies and develop a customized network service. The team is also focused on the Thought Leadership Initiative which will help clients better understand the challenges and opportunities of today"s global market place.
The Network Client Consulting team is currently hiring in Bournemouth. J.P. Morgan"s regional approach allows the bank to provide 24 x 7 coverage of our network and to answer client queries quickly and with the most current information.
Role and Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of the Network Management Group include Agent Management, Market Management, Client Support and Information Management & Delivery. The team has a high profile with both internal and external clients and within the industry with added value focus by leveraging our market expertise, client consultation and our information products. The Network Client Consulting individual will help to respond to client specific needs or to act in a consultative role to help a client understand the global marketplace. Based in Bournemouth, the individual will need to work closely with network market managers, agent banks and client relationship teams in order to ensure seamless service delivery. The individual will also be involved in executing against the Thought Leadership initiative.
· Respond to network management related client (external/internal) inquiries providing proactive consultation where necessary
· Communicate directly with key clients via telephone, electronic mail and in person
· Collaborate with internal business partners to understand client needs and work towards creative solutions
· Participate in the development and delivery of client and internal training seminars focused on securities markets and specific country information and nuances
· Support Sales and Relationship Management Teams in the sales process by addressing RFP"s and conducting presentations related to Network Management functions
· Interact daily with Network Market Managers to source information that would be of interest to key clients
· Assess full impact of market developments to clients
· Develop and/or complete client specific questionnaires on various network related topics
· Partake in preparation and follow-up for client due diligence trips, where applicable
· Communicate market developments, client impact and inquiry responses to team members in Network Management, Relationship Management, Risk Management, Client Service, Operations and/or Product Management
· Work with the global NCC Thought Leadership leads and internal business partners to deliver creative solutions, cohesive messages on a cross regional basis
· Support the local market account opening process and provide consultation to both internal and external clients on market entry related issues
· Interact with Risk Management as well as the Network Market Managers to assess the risk involved in settlement of transactions around the globe
· Interact with Information Product teams to develop and maintain information products

· Substantial relevant experience within the securities market
· Securities Clearance and Custody Product knowledge
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Solid Presentation Skills
· Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
· Excellent client service and/or relationship management skills
· Good analytical and problem solving skills
· Must be able to work within a team environment
· Proven ability to work across multiple teams and operate effectively in a global organization
· PC Skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
· Travel may be required at short notice
