CIB OPERATIONS - FUND ACCOUNTANT - VICE PRESIDENT - EDINBURGH

The statutory fund accounting team forms part of the Client Investment Administration Department. The statutory accounting team are responsible for the annual and semi-annual statutory accounts reporting for UK Collective Investment Schemes and Luxembourg SICAV's, plus monthly pension fund reporting. The statutory accounting team also provide income forecasting and taxation review for all UK funds.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for Operational Service Delivery for a key client covering all aspects of NAV timeliness and accuracy for service delivery to the client, managing client communication including queries, service reviews supporting client changes to the ops model.

 

·  Production of the funds financial statements
·  Calculation of dividend distribution rates
·  Calculation of taxation entries
·  Review of income and taxation forecasting
·  Calculation of fund yields.

Qualifications:

·  Degree preferred
·  At least one year fund accounting experience
·  Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
·  Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
·  Client interaction
