Equity Exotics and Hybrids Business
The Equity Exotics & Hybrids Business is one of the most dynamic and complex business line within the JP Morgan franchise. With an ever growing range of product types tailored to meet the requirements of specific investors, the area provides a stimulating challenge for employees with an interest in financial engineering and their place in the current financial markets.

The focus of the Equity Exotics and Hybrid Middle Office Group is one of business partner to allow the increase of volumes and revenues to be facilitated unhindered in a controlled and cost efficient environment. The Middle Office is responsible for the transaction lifecycle of trades from their original trade booking through their settlement and risk exposure.

Job Description
The Trader Assistant acts as the primary contact with the front office and trading desk carrying out a series of business critical functions.

Key Responsibilities
The role’s responsibilities include trade capture and booking, intraday activity monitoring of trading books, trade event management, running and analyzing the mark to market of the portfolio and close liaison with traders and marketing.
Essential & Desirable Skills
·  Derivatives knowledge & experience is required, knowledge of securities products is a plus
·  Ideally experienced with exotic equity or other asset class derivatives knowledge
·  A minimum of two years prior operational and/or line experience, is required
·  Self-motivation and demonstration of initiative.
·  Excellent Analytical skills
·  Excellent oral and written communication /presentation skills
·  Highly organised
·  Extremely detail orientated
·  Control orientated
·  Keen to question everything and understand the detail behind the numbers and/or process
·  Strong PC Skills. In particular Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
