Business Description: Futures and Options (F&O) is the internal name of JP Morgan"s global exchange traded futures and options brokerage business. F&O provides client"s access to exchange traded listed derivatives globally. F&O acts solely as the client"s agent on brokerage transactions, and never as principal. Services include: ·Developing trade ideas and portfolio management strategies in derivative markets ·Identifying relative value between and among derivative and cash instruments ·Quantifying the risks and profit opportunities of trades involving futures and options; ·Executing client trades for Fixed Income, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Commodity and Equity futures and options on global derivatives exchanges ·Clearing and settling futures and options transactions ·Posting the margins required by exchanges, using cash or securities in ways most convenient to the client ·Providing operational information about client transactions in flexible and responsive electronic or paper formats Position Description: The position requires the individual to have a range of experience covering all aspect of the Treasury function within F&O. Successful applicants will have experience of cash funding, European settlements, market regulation and knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives. The roles & responsibilities of the Treasury Operations Specialist are as follows:·The effective funding of F&O bank accounts to enhance global NIE and minimize balance sheet usage. ·Ensure Collateral management of all clients collateral ·Adhere to operational procedures to ensure a controlled environment ·Ability to review processes regularly and update procedures as required ·Ensure all exchange and client deliveries are settled within exchange deadlines ·Effective and accurate funding of exchange accounts during fixed income deliveries ·Processing of client FX transactions ·All cash/trade breaks escalated and resolved within the set specified deadlines ·Escalation of issues where appropriate to Management ·Client queries / issues are dealt with appropriately and on a timely basis ·Ad hoc requests are dealt with on a timely basis and in an appropriate manner

Qualifications Essential Skills: A Treasury Operations Specialist should possess the following skills: ·Dynamic & proactive team player, ensuring that the team works together in the most efficient manner ·Flexible attitude towards working hours due to the demands of the workplace ·An ability to identify process & procedural inefficiencies to improve capacity, efficiency and control. ·knowledge of cash funding process ·knowledge of global settlement processes and systems ·Reconciliation experience ·Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills. ·Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and procedures ·Problem solving ·Strong client focus and attention to customer care ·Strong PC skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook) ·Ability to work effectively under pressure with an high accuracy rate ·Futures and Options / OTC market knowledge About J.P.
