BUSINESS OVERVIEW:

The EMEA CASS Team is responsible for providing support to the Firm and the Directors responsible for CASS Operational Oversight (CF10a) across all UK based entities for ensuring compliance with regulatory rules.

The position forms part of the CASS team within CIB Operations. The team undertakes oversight and control in relation to ensuring JPM's operational compliance with the FCA Client Money and Client Assets Rules (CASS). The team work closely with Operations and Product Management across the different lines of business, including Global Custody, Clearance, Collateral Management, Funds Services , Escrow, Securities Lending, Liquidity Solutions , Derivatives, Futures and Options,FX , Equities and Fixed Income . In addition, the team partner with Compliance, Audit and Risk.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The EMEA CASS Support Unit, working with the CF10as, will ensure that the respective Operations and business units are being managed in compliance with the CASS rules. The team will also offer a primary interface with the internal and external review bodies, assisting the CF10as in their regulated capacity.

Key responsibilities of the CASS Support team include:

· Management & secretary of CASS Governance committees

· Provision of CASS decks for Board Reporting

· Lead & co-ordinate CASS audits & reviews – internal & external

· Oversight & monitoring of any resulting CASS action plans

· Lead & co-ordinate CASS Regulatory Reviews

· Lead & manage regulatory changes

· CASS guidance and technical support to the product areas

· Leading CASS breach management process

· Lead & co-ordinate deep dives of CASS related business issues

· CASS RP monitoring

· Management & co-ordination of CMAR & Service Level Agreement

The successful candidate needs to have strong processing and analytical skills; the ability to work independently, the willingness to work across the various lines of business and is adaptable to change. In addition, the candidate needs to demonstrate extensive banking and compliance knowledge in working CASS related issues, the ability to exercise sound judgment and to observe the highest degree of confidentiality in the handling of information received in the course of their responsibilities.

Proven manager with at least 5-7 years of experience in Controls, Risk, Compliance or Audit related activity involving Client Money/Client Assets, with a strong program/project management skill set.
