The Digital Strategy & Fintech team works with all CIB businesses to help define their forward digital strategies, as well as implementation methods (i.e. build, buy, partner, etc.). We are thoughtful in balancing due diligence with speed to market, and creativity with discipline in order to produce best-in-class, efficient, and thoughtful digital solutions for ourselves and our clients.

We focus across the following pillars: (1) Defining a digital strategy across the CIB that spans opportunities for medium/ long-term differentiation, (2) Scanning the external landscape for new/ emerging technologies and companies, (3) Creating business cases and selecting an implementation plan with a business-driven mindset, (4) Building and implementing digital products through partnerships with Product, Tech, and UX, and (5) Governing the implementation and providing strategic guidance on all of our digital implementation efforts, including external companies and proprietary builds, in order to drive integrations and a more seamless client experience.

Within the Digital Strategy & FinTech team, we aim to enhance the way we do business with clients, deliver a differentiated, integrated digital experience, and augment client intelligence and insights. We understand the CIB businesses and how they fit into the broader FinTech ecosystem. Our team influences decisions on market strategy, platform strategy, product strategy and client engagement, and implements innovative technology based solutions at the bank.

You will:
• Bring leading practices to help solve some of the most complex problems imaginable at the intersection of two dynamic industries finance and technology
• Connect us deep into the global FinTech ecosystem
• Become an expert in emerging technology trends and insights
• Influence decisions on market strategy, platform strategy, client engagement and implementing innovative technology based solutions at the bank
• Develop new innovation programs that can further foster idea development and commercial product creation
• Evaluate emerging companies against our strategic priorities
• Mentor, advise and develop lasting partnerships with leading companies
• Build a portfolio of influential and transformative companies that you will continue to evolve

• Interact with other high-performing teams within the firm to inspire innovation and champion change

Successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Professional experience/ expertise in Strategy, FinTech/ startup and/ or Capital Markets
• Knowledge of tech and/ or digital space is required
• Proven ability to independently lead and accomplish large-scale projects in action-oriented steps; specifically facilitating innovation and group collaboration processes and developing new products, services or experiences
• Analytical and strong problem solving skills
• Commercially-focused and entrepreneurial
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to influence decisions is a must
• Strong experience in liaising with and collaborating with stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to drive multiple projects
• Understanding of technology and product drivers
• Proven track record of setting project plan and deliverables and meeting aggressive deadlines
• Adaptable team player with the ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment
• Organized self-starter with demonstrated passion for learning
• Exceptionally strong client management and executive-level communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
