This position will be part of the Markets Planning & Analysis team focused on supporting Global Equities and Research businesses, and specifically supporting the global and Americas region Business Heads. This role involves partnering with Product Controllers, Business Managers and other Markets and Sales & Trading P&A staff while operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include:
· Providing monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting on business performance together with relevant analysis to aid Business Heads and Business Managers in strategic decision making
· Ensuring reporting practices are consistent across both the Equities and other Markets businesses
· Implementing controls and best practices to ensure accurate financial reporting
· Managing the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process
· Reviewing expenses and helping drive reductions in the business cost base
· Assist in ad hoc business strategic projects
· Liaising with legal entity controllers to ensure financial statement integrity and regulatory compliance
Desired profile
The candidate must be a highly-motivated individual and able to shift focus of task with relative ease while remaining flexible in balancing workload in accordance with changing priorities. The incumbent needs to be comfortable operating in a sometimes stressful and fast-paced environment.
Requires 3-5+ years of experience in finance within a financial institution
Essential skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Pitchpro (PowerPoint)
Desirable skills but not essential
· Planning & Analysis/Business Control/Legal Entity Controller experience
· Knowledge of JPM reporting systems - FDW, Paragon Accounting qualification
