EMEA Institutional Settlements
Equity pre matching in the securities Operation department has it's foot print from 2011 team mainly performs pre matching activities for EUROCLEAR, EURONEXT, NORDICS, Germany, Swiss & Austria markets. Institutional Settlements provides back-office related services to internal constituents as well as external customers (broker dealers, hedge funds, etc). Services focus on providing post-trade processing capabilities across all asset classes and include: record keeping, trade confirmations, trade settlements, street-wide reconciliation and compliance

Duties & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the day to day operations for transaction processing for trades received from global and domestic clients. Incumbent should possess knowledge Pre-Matching/Settlements, She/he should have the ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines. Can effectively work in teams. Liaise with internal clients, Middle Office & relationship managers.

Key Responsibilities would include:-
•Accuracy in processing in line with SOPs with no errors.
•Identify & escalate all error/exceptions on identification.
•Responds to routine queries/complaints
•Be audit focused in all BAU activities.
•Comply with the firm"s policies & SOPs.
•Navigates systems quickly and accurately
•Identify opportunities for process efficiency & implement in a controlled manner
•Exhibit effective communication with key stakeholders.
•Thorough knowledge of SOPs/related check points.

Desired profile

Skills & Competencies

• Post graduates with good academic record.
• Good PC skills including Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Power point, Access)
• Strong communications skills both verbal and written
• Build strong working relationships across global cross functional teams, including Front Office
• Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
• Control mindset to identify process control gaps, prioritize & mitigate operational risk
• Analytical mindset and high attention to detail
