Our team structures, prices and sells equity derivatives to financial institutions – with the role focused on UK clients including Private Banks, Discretionary Accounts and Multi-Asset accounts.
Equity Derivatives Sales work closely with their clients and trading desks to find unique solutions to key client problems leveraging on J.P. Morgan's superior trading platform.
The opportunity is to join the Equity Derivatives Sales team to cover UK clients with a focus on structured products and light exotic structures. The candidate will work closely with the broader equity teams including Equity Structuring and Equity Derivative Trading including Exotic and Delta One trading. The candidate will also work closely with Research.
· Support for the desk including pricing structured products, liaising with trading and structuring and idea generation.
· Marketing and Sales of Equity Derivatives products
· Direct Sales Coverage of UK Clients
The role requires an enquiring mind, perseverance and the ability to handle a large amount of information.
Ability to understand simple as well as complex equity derivatives products and ability to price them.
· Demonstrable experience in equity derivatives
· Sales experience covering UK Clients
· The candidate needs to be able to deal confidently with people at all levels in the organization
· The individual should be self-motivated, with the drive and skill to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful trade ideas
· Ability to work under pressure
· Reliability and team-player personality.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
