Our Business
Our team structures, prices and sells FX products and interest rate derivatives to corporate clients and its pension funds. We are a markets based fully private side team that is working closely with our colleagues in banking, corporate finance and DCM. We cover flow products as well as highly structured solution which we develop in close cooperation together with our clients.
We are working closely with our trading desks to find unique solutions to key client problems leveraging on J.P. Morgan's superior trading platform. As such a sales person in that role would need to work closely with clients and internally with diverse departments of the bank ranging from Research to Structuring and from Trading to Investment Banking.
The Opportunity
The opportunity is to join the Cross Asset Sales team to cover corporate clients, largely based in the Nordic region. There is a key focus is on FX execution, but will also involve significant work on all other asset classes. The candidate will work in partnership with the rest of the team, which offers a multi-asset sales offering to a selection of key clients
Key responsibilities:
· Direct Sales Coverage of Corporate clients across the Nordic region
· Marketing and sales of FX and other derivative products
Requirements
· The role requires an enquiring mind, perseverance and the ability to handle a large amount of information
· Ability to understand simple as well as complex derivative products and ability to price them
· The candidate needs to be able to deal confidently with people at all levels in the organization
· The individual should be self-motivated, with the drive and skill to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful trade ideas
· Ability to work under pressure
· Reliability and team-player personality
Essential Skills
· Fluent in at least one Nordic language
· Experience in FX execution
· Sales experience covering corporate clients
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
