Our business
Global Commodities is responsible for the sale of commodity financial products, as well as options and selected physical commodities to institutional and corporate clients around the world. Products include Precious Metals, Base Metals, Energy and Agricultural Commodities. The firm is a major market-maker and service provider global across the commodity complex.

Opportunity
The opportunity is to join the institutional sales team covering EMEA real money accounts (insurance companies, asset managers, pension funds, banks, etc…) and support the daily functions of the team in servicing this client base across the commodities complex.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide commodities coverage to institutional accounts and assist in strengthening the bank's institutional client network in the commodity markets in both a flow and structured environment
• Contribute to building a strong presence which challenges the existing competitors in the market place
• Assist in formulating, marketing and executing trade ideas
• Assist in pricing exotics and complex structures as well as developing new products
• Assist in performing analyses on existing or new products in order to explain their construction mechanics and performance attribution to clients
• Support other parts of the firm in their commodities marketing efforts

Desired profile

Requirements
• Strong analytical background and communication skills are a must including sound writing ability; multi-tasking is essential to the job
• Candidates must be self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to take initiative, take ownership of projects and multi task while paying attention to detail.
• Ideal if the candidate also has experience in financial markets and/or derivatives in general, but this is not required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Good PowerPoint and Excel knowledge
• Excellent time management skills
• Interest in the Asset Management industry
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
